<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simulation method for relay response with a point of accident estimating function wherein a point of accident is estimated using a relay response simulator without installing a device for spotting a point of accident. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes steps of: setting system status data by a system status inputting and setting means 100 according to an instruction from an operator; carrying out load-flow calculation by a relay operation determining means 110 and storing a result of relay operation simulated in accordance with an accident condition; setting a point-of-accident estimation search rule by a point-of-accident search rule input and setting means 120; and varying the accident condition by a point-of-accident searching means 130 and comparing the results of relay operation obtained by the relay operation determining means 110 with the result of relay operation on the occurrence of actual accident to detect the point of accident. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
