PURPOSE: A 3D image display device and a 3D image caption display method are provided to display a caption for a 3D image, thereby enabling a viewer to watch the 3D image without fatigue of eyes. CONSTITUTION: A control unit(190) selects a caption location of decoded 3D frames based on calculated pixel difference values. The control unit calculates a depth value at the selected caption location about at least one 3D frame. The control unit sets a caption depth value using the calculated depth value. A display(150) displays a caption image. The caption image has the caption depth value. |
