PURPOSE: A repair method of an expansion joint is provided to repair an expansion joint without the removal of post-concrete and to reduce dust, noise, and the generation of waste. CONSTITUTION: A repair method of an expansion joint is as follows. A damaged upper joint rubber material is removed from the gap between vertical steel materials(30B). A flexible filling material(50) is put into the gap between the vertical steel materials and is cured. After curing, backing plates(80) are horizontally coupled to the tops of the vertical steel materials to be separated from each other.
