METHOD FOR PURIFYING ORGANIC SOLVENT

PURPOSE: A method for refining an organic solvent is provided to discharge propylene glycol monomethyl ether acetate(PGMEA) and dimethylformamide(DMF) respectively through the upper part and the lower part of a distilling column by lowering the boiling point of the PGMEA than the boiling point of the DMF. CONSTITUTION: A method for refining an organic solvent includes the following: a mixture containing PGMEA and DMF is prepared(S10); an entrainer is added into the mixture(S30); and the mixture with the entrainer is azeotropic distilled. The entrainer contains water. The mixture contains n-butyl acetate. The amount of the entrainer is 25 to 40 wt% based on the mixture. The azeotropic distillation is implemented under the atmospheric pressure.
