PURPOSE: A printing device, a control method thereof, a storage medium, and a cartridge are provided to accurately notify timing for exchanging a toner cartridge which has a photosensitive drum. CONSTITUTION: A CPU(107) obtains information about the number of color printed sheets and the number of monochrome printed sheets. The CPU determines whether a photosensitive drum used for the color printing is completely consumed based on the sum of the number of color printed sheets and the number of monochrome printed sheets with a threshold value. The threshold value is determined based on the ratio of the number of color printed sheets to the number of monochrome printed sheets. |
