PURPOSE: A social agent service system and a method thereof are provided to supply useful information or a suitable service by inferring a context of a user and predicting a next action. CONSTITUTION: A personal information collecting unit(22) collects both log information and personal profile information from a social agent client(10). A contextual information collecting unit(21) collects current contextual information. A user context inferring unit(24) infers a context and confidence by using the current contextual information, the log information, and the personal profile information. An action inferring unit(25) infers a next action by using a state that the inferred context and the inferred confidence are combined with each other. A social recommendation service providing unit(23) provides customized information to the social agent client.
