PURPOSE: An apparatus for charging an electric car is provided to reduce costs and time by supplying the charging apparatus integrally manufactured by combining a main body and a base embedded under the ground. CONSTITUTION: A wireless communication unit(10) receives information about a charging type of vehicles from an entering car. A controller(50) decides the charging type of the entering car reference to the received information. An output unit(70) outputs a signal, which is discriminated with the naked eye, according to the controller. A protection unit(20) prevents electrical accidents. A measuring unit(30) measures power amounts supplied to the electric car.
