A cylindrical bearing sleeve 20 of elastic material is formed with a longitudinal split whose edges form interengaging teeth 28, and the two rows of teeth are axially displaced with respect to each other so that coacting teeth touch each other only along a single flank surface 32. The teeth may be either generally triangular in shape as shown,or may be provided with round tips. The split may be formed in the shape of a helix. |
