PURPOSE: A device for providing a social network service in a portable terminal and a method thereof are provided to use an automatic log-in function for the social network service by changing the device using user identification information as log-in information in the social network service. CONSTITUTION: When a log-in type requiring user identification is selected, log-in information generating unit(102) generates log-in information by using user identification information. When a log type not requiring the user identification is selected, the log-in information generating unit generates the log-in information by using device identification information. A control unit(100) controls the generation of the log-in information according to the confirmed log-in type. An application executing unit(104) executes an SNS(Social Network Service) by using the generated log-in information. |
