PURPOSE: A cinerary urn is provided to reduce the expenses of purchasing a cinerary urn and a place of enshrinement because cremated remains are respectively accommodated in first and second sub containers. CONSTITUTION: A cinerary urn comprises a main container(10), a cover(40), a first sub container(20), and a second sub container(30). The cover comprises a handle(41) to close an opening of the main container. Flat plate portions(21,31) of the first and second sub containers are installed to be touching in the middle part of the main container. A path(42) for allowing mutual communication between the first and second sub containers is formed in the handle of the cover. Recessed portions(22,32) and vent holes are respectively formed in an upper surface of the flat plate portions where the first and second sub containers are facing each other.
