APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CREATING 3-DIMENSIONAL CONTENTS OF ORIENTAL PAINTING

PURPOSE: A stereoscopic content generating device for oriental paintings and a method thereof are provided to generate culture content reproduced in a stereoscopic display by extracting stereoscopic information from a two-dimensional classic ink-and-wash painting image. CONSTITUTION: A two-dimensional image analysis unit(150) receives previous knowledge information applied to an analysis of an oriental painting. The two-dimensional image analysis unit analyzes two-dimension information about space, light and shade, and composition of an oriental painting image. A stereoscopic information extracting unit(160) extracts one or more stereoscopic information among distance, depth, and focus about the oriental painting image. A content generating unit(170) generates content about the oriental painting image. A stereoscopic image converting unit(180) applies image information of the content to the stereoscopic information.
