PURPOSE: An electrolyte for lithium secondary batteries and a lithium secondary battery including the same are provided to have excellent high-temperature stability and lifetime properties. CONSTITUTION: An electrolyte for lithium secondary batteries comprises a non-aqueous organic solvent, lithium salt, and electrolyte additive which include a compound represented by chemical formula 1. In the chemical formula 1, R^1 - R^12 are identical or different from each other and respectively indicate hydrogen, substituted or non-substituted C1-C30 aliphatic organic radical, substituted or non-substituted C3-C30 cycloaliphatic organic radical or substituted or non-substituted C2-C30 aromatic organic radical. The lithium secondary battery comprises a positive electrode which includes an anodic active material, a cathode which includes the anodal active material, and electrolytes. |
