<p>PURPOSE: A light emitting element head, a light emitting element array chip, and an image forming device are provided to select light emitting elements which are overlapped in a sub scanning direction and make the overlapped light emitting elements to emit light, thereby correcting a magnification in a main scanning direction. CONSTITUTION: A first light emitting element row is made of light emitting elements which are arranged in a row in a main scanning direction. A second light emitting element row is made of light emitting elements which are arranged in a row in the main scanning direction. Portions of the second light emitting element row are overlapped in a sub scanning direction. An optical element exposes a photoconductor to light based on light output of the light emitting elements to form an electrostatic latent image. The interval between the first and second light emitting element rows is different in a portion where the first and second light emitting element rows are overlapped.</p> |
