PURPOSE: An identification key generating device, using a schedule variance, and a method thereof are provided to improve the randomness and the time invariance of a generated identification key value by forming a PUF(Physically Unclonable Function) in a hardware type. CONSTITUTION: Unit cells are generated on a substrate of metal thin film foil or plastic or glass in the same semiconductor manufacturing process(110). The unit cells include amorphous-Si, poly-Si, an organic and/or oxide thin film device which are having a difference in electrical characteristic values by a schedule variance of the semiconductor manufacturing process. The unit cells generate at least one bit of a digital value by using the difference in the electrical characteristic values. |
