<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a power conversion device that makes it possible to improve maintainability after a stop of the power conversion device without reducing power conversion efficiency of the power conversion device in operation. <P>SOLUTION: A power conversion device comprises: an inverter circuit 5 converting input direct-current power to alternating-current power to output it; a capacitor 6 connected to between input side terminals of the inverter circuit 5; discharging means 7 installed so as to be capable of being connected in parallel with the capacitor 6 and for discharging electric charge accumulated in the capacitor 6; opening/closing means 8 connected in series with the discharging means 7 and for opening/closing the electrical connection between the capacitor 6 and the discharging means 7; and opening/closing control means 11 for controlling the opening/closing means 8 based on a state of the inverter circuit 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
