<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device that stably carries out printing to an envelope. <P>SOLUTION: The printing device 1 includes: a printing part 3 that carries out printing to the envelope while conveying the envelope; a resist roller 26 that supplies the envelope along a conveyance path toward the printing part 3; a detection part that detects whether a flap of the first envelope supplied to the printing part 3 from the resist roller 26 is open; and a control part that, according to a state of the flap of the first envelope detected by the detection part, controls subsequent timing of supply operation and conveyance amount of the envelope by the resist roller 26. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
