<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for cutting a sheet material with a decorative pattern put on a table according to the pattern of a part, in which data for cutting are modified according to the stretch and the distortion of the sheet material. <P>SOLUTION: A pattern 22 of the part is arranged in a theoretical decorative pattern 12 of a sheet material 2 formed on a virtual plane 11 corresponding to the sheet material 2 and a pattern match point 14 is set up for each part. Next, a standard pattern 15 is formed based on the theoretical decorative patter 12 to project the standard pattern 15 with an absolute size on the sheet material 2 using a projector. In addition, the coordinate data are modified by moving and deforming the position and shape of the standard pattern 15 in accordance with the pattern of the sheet material 2. The coordinate data of the modified pattern 22 in the part are displayed in the overlapping manner on an image of the sheet material 2 photographed by a camera and the pattern match point 14 of each part is overlapped in the corresponding portion of the pattern of the sheet material 2 to re-modify the coordinate data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
