<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tricot fabric with very high elongation, particularly, high elongation in not just a warp direction but also in a weft direction. <P>SOLUTION: The tricot fabric is knitted by using only a knitting yarn comprising elastic fiber. A tricot knitting machine of 18 gauges or more is used, and any one of thorough threading, one-in-one-out, or one-in-two-out is used as a threading method. At least one knitting structure of knitting yarns comprising the elastic fiber is chain stitching. Preferably, elongation in a course direction (the weft direction) is 400% or more, and elongation in a wale direction (the warp direction) is 150% or more, or the sum of elongation in the wale direction (the warp direction) and elongation in the course direction (the weft direction) is 600% or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
