<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the practicality of a cushioning body comprising a urethane gel and a urethane foam, and a method for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: Raw materials for the urethane foam containing a polyol, a polyisocyanate, a foaming agent, a foam stabilizer, and a catalyst are mixed, and raw materials for the urethane gel containing the polyol, polyisocyanate, a plasticizer, and catalyst are mixed in the raw materials for the urethane foam which are mixed during a foaming reaction produced in the mixing thereof, and composed so as to produce the cushioning body 22. Thus, the urethane gel 14 and urethane foam 16 can simultaneously be molded, and the urethane gel in a state sandwiched between a skin layer 18 and a foamed part 20 of the urethane foam and in a close contact state therewith can be included in the urethane foam. As a result, the production process can be simplified, and the cushioning body having a good load distribution property can be produced.
