PURPOSE: A touch panel and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to make improve sensitivity by forming a transparent electrode on another substrate and combining the substrates together. CONSTITUTION: A first transparent electrode(42) is formed on a first substrate(10) in a first direction. A first wire(52) connects the first transparent electrode. A second substrate(60) is separated and spaced from the first substrate. A second transparent electrode(44) is insulated from the first transparent electrode and formed on the second substrate in a second direction intersecting the first direction. A second wire connects the second transparent electrode. An intermediate layer(30) is formed between the first substrate and the first transparent electrode.
