PURPOSE: A gene amplification system and a temperature control device thereof are provided to largely improve uniformity and accuracy. CONSTITUTION: A gene amplification system(100) comprises: a sample container(2) containing a genetic sample(1); a temperature control device(10) for heating and cooling the sample container to control the temperature of the genetic sample; and an optical device(20) for sensing the optical change of the genetic sample according to the temperature. The temperature control device comprises: a heat exchange block contacting the sample container; a first heat medium supply(11) for supplying a thermal medium(M1) of first temperature to the heat exchange block; a second thermal medium supply(12) for supplying thermal medium(M2) of second temperature to the heat block; a third thermal medium supply(13) for supplying thermal medium(M3) of third temperature to the heat exchange block; and a control unit(14) for authorizing control signals to the first, second, and third thermal medium supplies.
