PURPOSE: A spray type mulching material composition is provided to treat mulch using a simple apparatus, and to have excellent biodegradation, thereby capable of preventing soil pollution. CONSTITUTION: A spray type mulching material composition consists of solid paste, a water-soluble thickener, and a water-soluble crosslinking agent. The mulching method using the spray type mulching solution comprises: a step of manufacturing the mulching material composition; a step of operating a motor pump connected between a container in which the mulching material composition is accommodated and a sprayer; a step of forming a thick film by spraying the mulching material composition on the soil using the sprayer; and a step of stopping the motor pump and the sprayer after forming the thick film on the soil.
