<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a polyurethanic thickener which uses no solvent to prevent a rise in reaction solution viscosity, and enhance the solubility of raw materials or prevent the consumption of an isocyanate, and gives little coloration, in a short time and efficiently. <P>SOLUTION: A polyalkylene oxide compound, an alcohol having a hydrophobic group, and a diisocyanate compound are allowed to react in and taken out from a co-rotation twin-screw extruder, to thereby continuously produce a modified water-soluble polyalkylene oxide as the polyurethanic thickener exhibiting little coloration without using any solvent to prevent a rise in reaction solution viscosity, and to be used for other purposes, in a short time and efficiently. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
