METHOD FOR DYEING KNITTED FABRIC COMPOSED OF POLYURETHANE-BASED ELASTIC FIBER, KNITTED FABRIC DYED BY THE METHOD, AND STRETCH CLOTH AND STRETCH CLOTH MATERIAL USING THE KNITTED FABRIC

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knitted fabric excellent in stretchability, dimension stability, fitting property to the skin, and strength retention and rich in design.

SOLUTION: There is provided a method for dyeing a knitted fabric that is knitted exclusively with a knitting yarn composed of a polyurethane-based elastic fiber. The polyurethane-based elastic fiber is obtained by a reaction of a polymer diol, a diisocyanate and a chain-extender, and includes a polymer containing a sulfonic acid group. The polyurethane-based elastic fiber is dyed with a cationic dye at 30°C or more and 130°C or less at least either before or after of knitting the knitted fabric.
