<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dehydrate and concentrate an aqueous glycerin solution with less energy. <P>SOLUTION: A process for producing concentrated glycerin from the aqueous glycerin solution includes an atomization/dehydration/concentration step of subjecting the aqueous glycerin solution having a viscosity of 25 mPa s or less to an ultrasonic vibration procedure to convert water in the solution into mist, thereby dehydrating and concentrating the solution. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
