<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air compressor achieving space saving and noise reduction. <P>SOLUTION: This air compressor 101 includes: a compression mechanism 10 for compressing sucked air and thereafter discharging the compressed air; a connection part 50 having an inlet 50a for sucking the air and an outlet 50b connected to the suction side of the compression mechanism 10 for circulating the air therein; and a diaphragm 54 extending toward the outlet 50b from the inlet 50a in the connection part 50. The diaphragm 54 forms, in the connection part 50, at least two of a first chamber 51 and a second chamber 52 having passage lengths different from each other for connecting the inlet 50a with the outlet 50b, and the connection part 50 is formed integrally with the compression mechanism 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
