<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary type grinding tool mounted in a grinding machine, a power tool, etc. to be mainly used for grinding and flattening a metallic plate made of iron and stainless, etc. and removing a coating film applied to the surface, and capable of performing uniform grinding, even when the plane of a plate to be cut is not flat, with a long service life. <P>SOLUTION: In this grinding tool, a plurality of parts for grinding made by a method of baking and adhering abrasive grains on the surface of a base body made of elastic bodies or containing abrasive grains in the base body are mounted around a tool rotation center on a substrate manufactured by a hard material such as metal. By properly selecting the shapes, elastic moduli and the mounted number of the elastic bodies, the grinding tool can be applied to surface grinding of various kinds of materials to be cut. Even when the surfaces of the materials to be cut are not flat, the grinding tool is capable of performing uniform grinding and has little risk of deteriorating the parts for grinding by chips generated in grinding, thereby having the long service life as a tool. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
