<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die cushion device with less loss in cushioning, regenerating braking power, highly durable without a mechanism section receiving an impact force in cushioning, and greatly reducing power required for cushioning, and to provide a method for controlling the same. <P>SOLUTION: In the die cushion device including a motor-driven lifting device 12 for vertically moving a cushion pad 2, a hydraulic cylinder 14 for applying an upward cushioning force to the cushion pad, a hydraulic controller 20 for supplying or discharging working oil to or from the hydraulic cylinder, and a cushion control device 30 for controlling the motor-driven lifting device and the hydraulic controller, the cushion pad 2 is positioned by the motor-driven lifting device 12, and the cushioning force is controlled and regenerated by the hydraulic cylinder 14 and the hydraulic controller 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
