<p>Provided is a hybrid vehicle control apparatus which comprises: an engine (1) driven according to fuel supply from a fuel tank (14); a drive wheel (6) driven according to power supply from a battery (4); a drive motor (3) for driving the drive wheel (6); and an integrated vehicle controller (24). A fuel consumption estimation means estimates the number of days required from the present to refueling or fuel depletion (t1) (step S21). A fuel decay estimation means estimates the number of days required from the present to fuel decay (t2) (step S22). When the refueling timing (t1) occurs after the fuel decay timing (t2) (YES in step S23), a fuel decay limiting control means switches to a fuel consumption acceleration mode corresponding to the size of the gap between both timings (t1) and (t2) (steps S23 - S30). By appropriately switching to the fuel consumption acceleration mode on the basis of a predictive estimation of fuel consumption progress and fuel decay progress, a drop in fuel consumption rate is prevented and fuel decay is suppressed.</p> |
