The head (100) has a tool part (160) arranged parallel to another tool part (120) and slidably supported at the latter tool part relative to a tool axis (102). The former tool part comprises a tool holder (180) for machining tools (190), where the holder is displaceably guided transverse to the axis. The holder is coupled with the latter part over deflection devices e.g. cylindrical carrier bolt (136) and oblong hole (184), such that an axial relative displacement of the former part is enabled relative to the latter part, and displacement of the holder is enabled transverse to the axis. The machining tools are designed as piercing tools such as turning plates.
