<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a recombinant antibody in a good efficiency and at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: This method for producing the antibody or its fragment comprises the production of the antibody or its fragment by using cells containing an exogenous DNA encoding the L-chain or its fragment of the antibody by a larger number of copies than those of the exogenous DNA encoding the H-chain or its fragment of the antibody.
