<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly provide an SiC/Si composite material having high rigidity and high thermal conductivity. <P>SOLUTION: In the SiC/Si composite material having such a structure that Si is filled among SiC particles, the SiC particles are configured of coarse powder and fine powder having different granularity, and the filling rate of the SiC is to be 86-94 vol.%. In this case, the crystal phase of the SiC particles is only the α phase in the coarse powder and only the β phase in the fine powder or the β phase and the α phase are intermingled, and when the contents of the crystals of the α phase and the β phase are α vol.% and β vol.%, respectively, 64≤β/(100-α)≤86 is satisfied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
