<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily read data of a processing object from an appropriate destination and to easily preserve it in the appropriate destination. <P>SOLUTION: In an image forming system in which an image forming apparatus, a client, a management device for managing the image forming apparatus and a storage device for preserving object data utilized in processing are connected by a communication network, the management device has: a first function of receiving the instruction of processing from the client; a second function of specifying a preservation location of the object data inside the storage device, and when displaying a destination indicating the location of a subordinate folder in the storage device, preparing a destination selection screen for which the destination not including the object data in the hierarchy immediately below is taken off from a display object; a third function of making the client display the destination selection screen; and a fourth function of acquiring the object data preserved in the hierarchy immediately below the destination selected in the destination selection screen from the storage device and transmitting it to the client or the image forming apparatus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
