CONDUCTIVE ROLLER AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic conductive roller capable of reducing charging sound.

SOLUTION: The electrophotographic conductive roller comprises a conductive support and a conductive elastic layer formed on the conductive support. The conductive elastic layer comprises an inner layer and an outer layer laminated outside the inner layer. The inner layer contains independent cells having shells of a thermoplastic resin, in which at least a part of the independent cells intrude from the inner layer to the outer layer. The face of the outer layer in contact with the inner layer includes concave portions derived from the independent cells.
