<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle data recording apparatus capable of effectively reducing the recording capacity required for recording data when a predetermined event occurs. <P>SOLUTION: A data recording apparatus determines the size of a time constant of each data item, sets an optimum data length according to the time constant size, and records the each data item into a memory in the set optimum data length, thereby allowing the each data item to be recorded with the accuracy necessary for analysis. Consequently, it can prevent extra information from being recorded when recording the each data item and inversely can prevent necessary information from being leaked, to allow reduction in the memory capacity required for recording data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
