摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the occurrence of an artifact caused by a change in moire fringes between preliminary radiography and actual radiography. <P>SOLUTION: A moire fringe change detection part 24 detects a change in moire fringes occurring in first and second differential phase images between actual imaging and preliminary imaging, and calculates a characteristic amount corresponding to the change. The characteristic amount is a period of an artifact occurring in a corrected differential phase image, which is obtained by subtracting the second differential phase image captured in the preliminary imaging from the first differential phase image captured in the actual imaging. A system control part 18 compares the period with a view field size of an X-ray image detector 20, and when the period is smaller than the view field size, makes a monitor 17b display a message suggesting re-execution of the preliminary imaging.
