<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator door device capable of enhancing a heat release effect while maintaining the strength of a door, and to provide an elevator. <P>SOLUTION: The elevator includes: an elevator cage; a weight; a rope for lifting the elevator cage and the weight; a hoist for taking up the rope; a hoistway in which the elevator cage is moved up and down; and the elevator door device including a flat plate installed on a landing hall side and having a sheet-like shape, and a radiation reinforced plate provided on the hoistway-side surface of the flat plate along the vertical direction and having a plurality of radiation fins.
