USE OF SILICONE METHACRYLATE PARTICLES IN COSMETIC FORMULATIONS

The present invention relates to cosmetic compositions containing silicone methacrylate particles as solid particles, which can be obtained by the steps a) producing an emulsion from water and an organic phase, wherein the organic phase contains especially organopolysiloxanes, which are modified at the ends and/or sides with methacrylate groups, or the mixtures thereof by adding at least one emulsifier and, optionally, one or more co-emulsifiers, the organic phase forming the inner phase of the emulsion; and polymerizing the inner phase in the presence of a radical starter which is added to the outer phase (aqueous phase) in a concentration of 0.1 to 40% by weight in relation to the inner phase. The invention also relates to corresponding cosmetic compositions.
