A method and a system for controlling battery replacement according to mileage data. The method comprises: reading current mileage data of an electric vehicle, the current mileage data being the sum of mileage traveled by the electric vehicle; receiving relevant charging information, submitted by a user, of the electric vehicle, the relevant charging information comprising information of a mileage account, and the mileage account denoting that the user currently adopts a billing policy that a fixed mileage is applied in a fixed time period; and judging, according to the current mileage data and the billing policy, whether an operation of replacing the battery of the electric vehicle is to be performed. By use of the present invention, the mileage data and the information of the mileage account of the electric vehicle can be obtained, and battery replacement can be conveniently controlled by use of the data and the information, thereby further ensuring that continuous electric power is effectively provided for green traveling of the electric vehicle.
