<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device with high luminance in which light emitted from an LED element is not prevented, heat from the LED element is discharged efficiently, and light distribution of an LED bulb is improved. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting device is composed of a light emitting element emitting light, a substrate on which the light emitting element is mounted, a heat radiation plate on which the substrate is mounted and radiates the heat generated from the light emitting element, and a globe which covers the light emitting element, the substrate, and the heat radiation plate and transmits the light emitted from the light emitting element.
