<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balloon catheter by means of which calculus etc. left in the inner wall of the bile duct can be easily removed. <P>SOLUTION: The balloon catheter includes a catheter tube 5 formed of a flexible material and having a distal end part 7 and a proximal end part, and a balloon formed of stretch material and attached to the distal end part 7 of the catheter tube 5. In the surface of the catheter tube 5, a jetting port 12 is formed near the proximal end of the balloon. The catheter tube 5 includes a first lumen 8 through which first fluid for inflating the balloon flows and a second lumen 9 through which second fluid for jetting out from the jetting port 12 flows. The jetting port 12 is formed in such a way that the jetting direction A1 of the second fluid obliquely cross the axis A2 of the catheter tube 5 so as to direct the proximal end side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
