<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder conveying device and an image forming apparatus in which agglomeration of a developer may be suppressed with a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: A powder conveying device comprises: a removably provided container for containing a developer, that is, a powder including a coloring material; rotatable first conveying means for conveying the developer contained in the container in a first direction toward a supply port of the container while agitating the developer; rotatable second conveying means for conveying the developer having been delivered through the supply port in a second direction opposite to the first direction; driving means for driving the first conveying means and the second conveying means; and controlling means for controlling the driving means so that a conveying direction for conveying the developer by the first conveying means may be switched from the first direction to the second direction on the basis of a precedently set condition before stopping the driving means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
