<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety in user authentication at a low cost and prevent even a short password set with numerals and the like from being stolen and leaked. <P>SOLUTION: A touch panel 23 displays plural input areas assigned with mutually different characters, numerals or symbols and detects a touch operation performed on each input area by a user. A storage unit 21 stores setting information on plural touch operations simultaneously performed on one of the plural input areas by the user. When the touch panel 23 detects the plural touch operations simultaneously performed on the one of the plural input areas, an authentication processing unit 24b compares the detected plural touch operations with the setting information and authenticates the user on the basis of a result of the comparison. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
