<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet conveying device that sequentially receives sheets ejected from an image forming apparatus, and includes a sheet conveyance path formed by guide members opposed to each other at the interval of predetermined width, wherein sheet conveyance resistance in a conveyance route is reduced, deflection is lessened, and space saving is achieved, and an image forming apparatus including the same. <P>SOLUTION: The conveying device sequentially receives the sheets P ejected from the image forming apparatus, and includes a curved portion in the sheet conveyance path formed by the guides opposed to each other at the interval of the predetermined width. The conveying device includes a pair of auxiliary members 602 and 602 capable of moving along the conveyance route in the conveyance path. The guide auxiliary member 602 includes a turnable roller 602a at a portion where it comes into contact with the sheet P. The roller is made of low-friction material, thereby preventing an increase of conveyance load on the sheet P by the roller itself. By guiding a portion where the conveyance resistance is high, the conveyance resistance of the sheet is reduced, and the deflection is lessened. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
