<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power feeding device and the like employing an electromagnetic resonance coupling system capable of making a coupling coefficient of electromagnetic induction coupling in the power feeding device or in a power reception device be an optimum value to enhance power transmission efficiency to a resonance frequency, independent of arrangement of the power feeding device and the power reception device (the coupling coefficient in electromagnetic resonance coupling), in non-contact power feeding of the electromagnetic resonance coupling system. <P>SOLUTION: In a power feeding device or a non-contact power feeding system, independent of arrangement of the power feeding device and a power reception device (a coupling coefficient in electromagnetic resonance coupling), by monitoring an S11 parameter that is a reflection component to a power output from a high-frequency power source in the power feeding device, and changing any one of or both a position (a distance) between a power transmission coil and a first resonance coil in the power feeding device and a position (a distance) between a power reception coil and a second resonance coil in the power reception device, the coupling coefficient in the electromagnetic induction coupling is adjusted to minimize the S11 parameter, and thereby the power transmission efficiency can be improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
