<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cushioning packaging material that allows packaged articles arranged in a lateral direction and in a height direction to be pulled out with improved workability. <P>SOLUTION: The end surface 47 is provided with a recess 63 between a first positioning part 61 and a second positioning part 62 in a part of the area where a packaging band 93 passes. There is a first flat surface 71 to which the inner surface of the packaging band 93 comes in contact or close proximity, between the recess 63 and the first positioning part 61.
