<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fast restart a computer (e.g., integrated equipment). <P>SOLUTION: A memory region reservation unit 112 secures a reservation region in a main memory 103, thereby limiting a storage region in which data can be stored only to any other storage region (start region) than the reservation region. An application start unit 113 stores application data in the start region and executes application initializing processing. When the application start unit 113 completes the application initializing processing, a boot image storage unit 115 stores a memory image in the start region as a boot image. When an information system 100 is started thereafter, a boot image load unit 121 stores, in the start region, the boot image stored by the boot image storage unit 115. Thus, the information system 100 is brought into a state at a time when the application initializing processing is completed.
