<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blind rivet having superior water tightness. <P>SOLUTION: The blind rivet 1 is composed of a mandrel 2 and a rivet 3. The mandrel is formed into a round rod shape as a whole, and has a head 12 larger in diameter than the other portion at one end. The river has a rivet body 15 which is cylindrical as a whole and closed at its one end, and a flange 16 which is continuous to the other end of the rivet body and expanded to the outside of the radial direction of the rivet body. Furthermore, the rivet accommodates the mandrel by making the head positioned at the closed one end and locking the head so as to be undrawable.
