<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize a space formed between a console box and an instrument panel as a storage space. <P>SOLUTION: A standing wall part 43 standing upward is formed in both the right and left side parts of a front end part of the console box 2. The front side end surface of the standing wall part 43 is brought into contact with the front surface 31 of the instrument panel 3. As a result, a part of the space formed between the console box 2 and the instrument panel 3 is partitioned as the storage space (not shown in the figure). Only the rear end part of the storage space which faces the cabin side is opened.
