Application head (15, 115) for dispensing a flowable medium, having a nozzle chamber (10) in the interior of the application head (15, 115) and a nozzle needle (11, 111) which is mounted movably in the interior of the nozzle chamber (10). An opening movement (P) of the nozzle needle (11, 111) opens an outlet opening (12). Furthermore, a feed channel (13) and a feed line are provided, in order for it to be possible to introduce the flowable medium into the nozzle chamber (10). A drive (20) produces the opening movement (P) of the nozzle needle (11, 111). Furthermore, the application head (15, 115) comprises a lever arm (30, 130), the first extreme end (31) of which is fastened movably to a rear end (14) of the nozzle needle (11, 111) and the second extreme end (32) of which is connected to the drive (20).
